Did you know that less people give blood during the summer? What with all of our vacations, plus summer activity schedules to keep track of, blood donation tends to take a dip during the warm months. But the amount of blood needed does not go down.

Luckily, there will be a convenient blood drive at Just Food Co-op, 516 Water St. S. next Tuesday, June 24, from 1-6 p.m! But you’ve got to call 650-0106 or stop in at Just Food and make an appointment for one of the time slots available (every 15 minutes between 1 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.) so that you don’t have to wait in line the day of the drive.
