ArtOrg will be in the large California Building Gallery for this year's Art-A-Whirl. Art-A-Whirl takes place this weekend on Friday from 5 to 10pm, Saturday from noon to 8pm, and Sunday from noon to 5pm. If you have never experienced this you won't be disappointed--invite some friends, grab some dinner, and see some great art! The California Building is located here, and we will be in the main gallery of the building on the first floor (2205 California Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). Start: 7:00 pm
Through the experiences of five very normal, very Christian, very American families -- including those of former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt and Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson – the film depicts how people of faith handle, or sometimes tragically fail to handle, having a gay child. Provocative and entertaining, it reconciles homosexuality and a literal interpretation of Biblical scripture. The public is invited to view the film and to join the discussion afterward. | ||
