(event) NPL Planning Meeting #1: Dreams and Visions Start: 7:00 pm End: 9:00 pm The Northfield Public Library is hosting a series of planning meeting at St. John's Lutheran Church Tuesday, May 13, May 27 and June 10, from 7-9 p.m. to answer an important question: Can the public library be expanded on its present site to serve the community for the next 20 years? Topics for the three meetings are: Tuesday, May 13: Dreams and visions for the library and community. Tuesday, May 27: Ideas for ways to expand the library on its current location. If you’re involved in the application process — as a student, parent or staffer at one of the two esteemed colleges in our comely community — you might want to know that help is available. And that help is coming to town. Author and educational consultant Steven Roy Goodman will appear at River City Books at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, to talk about his book College Admissions Together: It Takes a Family.
