The YMCA fills the Armory gym with mats, gym equipment and loads of games. Kids can slide, bounce balls, run, ride and so much more. Great exercise and burns lots of energy for your little ones. This is an open gym program for parents and their kids under the age of 5. Mark your calendar for some great fun with your preschooler during the cold winter months!

Wednesdays 10:00-11:30 am

The Northfield Area Family YMCA offers programs and services to support kids and families in healthy lifestyles. Working out is the single most important thing you can do to live longer (according to the American Medical Association). Let the YMCA provide some ‘move your butt’ opportunities for you and your family every week!
Family membership is only $55 per month ($35 per month with your Medica, Health Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield or UCare participating health insurance). We do not turn anyone away because of inability to pay, please contact us if you would like further information or find a financial aid form on our website under Membership.
Family membership includes full use of our Health & Wellness Fitness Center (located at 900 Cannon Valley Drive), free group fitness classes, free Child Watch (while you workout) and free youth classes for all your children.

Directions to the National Guard Armory: 519 Division Street – next to the corner bank (First National Bank) near Econo Foods.
Directions to the YMCA Health & Wellness Center: 900 Cannon Valley Drive. Take Hwy 3 north to Greenvale Ave and take a left. Go to Spring street and take a right. Follow Spring street past Emmaus Church and around past Greenvale Elementary School. Take a Right on Cannon Valley Drive. We share a parking lot with the new three story apartment complex of the Northfield Retirement Community. Follow the YMCA signs. We have our own entrance and lots of parking space.
