The Ole Café is open!

ole cafe logoVern Rippley, the owner landlord of the newly-refurbished Ole Café (formerly the Ole Store) sent out the following e-mail invitation this morning ...

I invite all to visit and view -- even try out -- the Ole Café for coffee, lunch, dinner, wine, beer -- no hard liquor, but plenty of nice new ambience. We open early and close late, great noon lunch soup and salad bar! Open today May 14 and going forward!

More from Vern ...

Vern adds that the restaurant has brand new floors, new walls, repositioning of the wine and beer, a large flat-screen bar, cafeteria-style buffet, seated table service, a sitting-waiting room with deli bar and wi-fi.

Expected hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. to about 9 p.m., "or later if demand warrants."

"The city, the colleges, the state, the nation -- all are invited to enjoy its global-style treats."

Is Vern the owner or the landlord?

David/Doug, I think Angie Perez is the owner of the Ole Cafe, and that Vern Rippley is the landlord. Am I wrong?

Thanks for the clarification

I think you're right, Griff. Vern is the owner of the building (is the building still called "the Ole Store?") and Angie is the owner of the business, which is the Ole Cafe.
