Tennis Block Party set for Saturday, May 16, 2009
The Northfield Tennis Association (NTA) is sponsoring its second-annual "Tennis Block Party" at the Northfield High School Courts on Saturday, May 16, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.
The NTA is committed to promoting tennis as an activity that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. Tennis players of all ages and abilities are invited to this FREE event! Bring your racket and be ready to have some fun on the courts. If you haven't played in awhile, just stop by - we'll have rackets available to use.
Coaches will lead fun tennis activities geared to people's interests and abilities. All are welcome and encouraged to come.
There will be information on tennis-related activities for youth and adults happening in Northfield over the summer. Plenty of prizes will be given away, too. A free picnic lunch will be served at noon.
The Northfield High School courts are located at 1400 Division Street South in Northfield.
In the case of rain, a make-up date will be posted at www.northfield.usta.com.
