'Safe Routes to School' open house presentation

The results of the study and the proposed "Safe Routes to School" plan for Northfield schools will be presented at a community open house Wednesday, June 10, 6–8 p.m. in the Bridgewater Elementary School cafeteria (401 Jefferson Parkway).

The public is invited to take the opportunity to learn about the study's results, and the proposed improvements to provide safer walking and bicycling conditions for students -- all while having the opportunity to provide feedback. The format will be informal with easels/posters arranged around the room and chairs/tables available for discussions and for the public to fill out comment cards. Possible solutions for the Highway 246/Jefferson Parkway intersection will be included, and a representative from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be present.
