Rollerblades Inventor to Speak at Carleton

Scott Olson, a man whose creative genius yielded the invention of Rollerblades in 1979, will deliver Carleton College’s weekly convocation address on Friday, Oct. 24 at 10:50 a.m. in the Skinner Memorial Chapel. In addition to Rollerblades, deemed one of the 100 coolest products of the 20th century by Time magazine, Olson has continued to invent and market numerous products, including the highly successful Rowbike. Olson’s appearance event is free and open to the public.
