Riverwalk Fall Festival
Enjoy a perfect autumn day at Northfield’s First Annual Market Fair Fall Festival on October 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. along the picturesque Cannon River. The Riverwalk Market Fair, which runs each Saturday from June through October, is hosting the event in collaboration with other area organizations for a special harvest celebration.
This family-fun event will feature a variety of hands-on activities including pumpkin painting, wool spinning demos, apple cider pressing and scarecrow making. Or pick up a paintbrush and add your own artistic touch to a large cornucopia mural-in-the-making! As every Saturday at Market Fair, visitors may stroll the riverwalk and shop amid a plentiful array of local farmers’ fresh produce and artisan foods as well as the best of regional fine art and fine craft. Open air music will add to the festivities.
Northfield’s Market Fair Fall Festival is a fun way to purchase autumn decor or discover unique gifts for the holidays! And you’ll have the pick of harvest’s bounty in a variety of high quality foods including organic apples, pumpkins and squash. Many vendors offer canned pickles and jams as well as home-made treats such as candies, pies, scones, and cookies.
