Quidditch at Carleton!

The first ever muggle quidditch tournament was held Saturday at Carleton College. Despite a forecast of rain and snow, it was a beautiful spring day, and it was a hoot watching the students run about with brooms between their legs, throwing balls at each other and at the hula hoop goals.

quidditch is popular
It seems quidditch is quite popular these days, at least on the campuses of liberal arts schools. Here is a link to "Muggle Quidditch" on wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muggle_Quidditch. The article reports the Intercollegiate Quidditch Association currently encompasses 105 schools!
