Public Hearing on City Comprehensive Plan TONIGHT
The newly revised Comprehensive Plan is ready for public review and reaction prior to formal adoption by the City Council later this month. There will be a public hearing before the Planning Commission on Tuesday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The public is invited to comment on this important guide which includes chapters on environmental resources, transportation, economic development, community facilities and housing.
The full document is available on the city hall web site or at the Public Library. Comments may be submitted in written form to Dan Olson, City Planner.
Parallel to development of the Plan, city staff and consultants are preparing regulations for implementation which the council will consider and adopt later this fall.
