The Women’s Retreat Collaborative of Northfield, Minnesota, will present a workshop for women Saturday, May 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Grand Hall in Farmington, Minnesota, called “Discover Your True Self and Live on Purpose.” The cost is $45. In honor of Mother’s Day the following day, all women registering with a mother, daughter or friend will receive a $5 per person discount.

The half-day workshop gives women a chance to focus on themselves and their goals. It will begin with relaxation through gentle yoga movement. Following the gentle yoga there will be two group life-coaching sessions. The first of these will help women identify what touches their hearts and clarify their direction. The second session will help them illuminate their dreams and cultivate a network of encouraging support.

The life-coaching sessions will be led by Deborah Schmidt-Erickson, owner of Life Dynamics Coaching in Northfield, and Mary Kathleen Fransen, a clinical social worker and owner of the Jasper Retreat Center in Northfield.

Register by May 1 to secure your place by contacting retreat coordinator Luann Alderks, mablespart2@gmail.com or 507-645-9470. She can also answer any questions women may have about the suitability of the workshop for them.
