Northfield Historical Society Auction
The Northfield Historical Society’s Annual Auction Gala is being held this Saturday, November 8th at the Northfield Golf Club. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for The Masquerade! This is a not to be missed event! Everyone attending will be given a mask unless of course you have your own and then by all means wear it! Masquerade attire is encouraged!
Start your Christmas shopping early and shop often, as there are some wonderful items up for bid on both the silent and live auctions. Imagine being the winning bidder on a ghost tour of St. Olaf, or dinner with the president and his wife of Carleton and/or St. Olaf, or how about a tug boat ride on the Mississippi River? You could also go home with a Willie Wonka Chocolate Tour with local chocolatier Brian McElrath, or go soaring in a glider ride at Stanton Airport. Take home a bit of history yourself with a row of six seats from Southgate Cinema or come and enjoy history with a private tour of the Northfield Historical Society complete with wine and appetizers!
This is the Northfield Historical Society’s only fundraiser. All of the funds raised that night go to continue our mission of preserving and interpreting Northfield unique history! For a more complete listing of items visit the auction website.
Tickets for this “not to be missed” event are $25.00 and available at the Northfield Historical Society (call 507-645-9268 or stop by) or at the door.
