Northfield Health Reform Update

 The Northfield Area Citizens for Universal Health Care are meeting Tuesday March 31st 7pm at the Northfield Library meeting room. The community is invited to come and learn more about what is happening at the state and federal levels with health reform. After the meeting we will adjourn to St.Olaf College, Buntrock Commons – Viking Theater to view the new PBS Frontline program “Sick Around America” which begins at 9pm.

 
The program is produced by T. R. Reid the same man who created the Frontline program "Sick Around the World" last year. This will be the first showing of the program; it airs on Channel 2. 
 
President Obama has made health reform one of his major initiatives. Joan and Steve Janusz attended the President’s Iowa White House Forum on Health Reform this past Monday (3/23) in Des Moines, Iowa. Information and our impressions of the event will be shared.
