Local land use is, for starters, an economic, political, civic engagement, and environmental issue. This panel discussion will reflect the broad swath of interests represented in coffee house, council chambers, front porch, and dormitory discussions of land use in Northfield. We invite you to Regents 150 on Tuesday, December 2 from 4:30-5:15 to hear about:

  • Recent issue developments at St. Olaf and in Northfield
  • The land use decision-making process
  • Local stakeholders' positions
  • Current land uses & outlook

5:15 will bring an open Q&A and discussion with the panelists. Although this event occurs during the work day, the organizers hope those who can will come with friends and join panelists and St. Olaf students in conversation about this important local issue.  Snacks provided.
