NAG Exhibit Featured at Northfield Historical Society
Today, while volunteering in Northfield Historical Society shop, I had a chance to look at the important new exhibit on view at the museum, illustrating the 50year history of the Northfield Arts Guild.

began to create a place “where all art forms could be learned and presented in a community based center.” Today NAG programs classes, productions and exhibits in two historic buildings. We’re fortunate to have this extraordinary resource in our community.
NHS Director Hayes Scriven credits Ann Moesy, Steve Lawler, Mryna Johnson, Bob and Martha Davies for putting together the show, which runs until April. The picture of Marie Sathrum, Myrna Johnson and Sue Shepard, shown here, was taken during the NHS videotaped oral history of the early years of the Northfield Arts Guild conducted in July of 2008 and available at www.northfieldhistory.org under Research and Collections, Northfield Arts Guild.

Thanks for identifying when the photo was taken. It is part of the NAG 50th exhibit, and seemed appropriate to the article, as those amazing women were some of the NAG pioneers.
