St. Olaf Lyric Opera Theatre will present Così fan tutte, one of Mozart's last operas, written in response to his views on the Enlightenment. With a cast of six main characters, the opera blends serious issues regarding chastity and loyalty with Mozart's musical genuis. The show is directed by James McKeel and Janis Hardy. There will be three showings starting with the first on Thursday October 23 and ending on Saturday, October 25. Come for an exciting evening of laughs, tears and beautiful singing!

Cosi Fan Tutte is the first of the Music Department’s three-production lyric theatre season which also includes the January, 2009 production of Christopher Columbus (music by Offenbach with a zany new story detailing the famed explorer’s accidental discovery of Coca Cola) and a student-directed production in May of 2009. The production is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. No tickets or reservations are required and seats are available on a first-come first-served basis
