Brought to you by The Key and the Rotary Club of Northfield, KeyFest is a family-friendly fundraiser featuring local bands, food, a live action, and kids’ activities. The event takes place today, Saturday, July 20, from 2:00 to 10:00 pm, at 10451 Ibson Avenue. Proceeds help support The Key, the oldest youth-run youth center in the country.

BANDS INCLUDE: Lonesome Shack (Seattle), Dewi Sant, Little Omar, Matt Arthur and Friends, Skeleton Club (fronted by Justin Plank of Gospel Gossip), Terry VanDeWalker (of the Big Wu), The Cutters, Broke Folk Records artists, and others to be announced. All original music!

There will a LIVE AUCTION at 5:00 p.m., conducted by the mother-son team of Jane Fenton and Cliff Martin. Items on the block include: a kayak, wizard staffs, a German dinner for eight prepared by Peggy Prowe, original jewelry by Libby Glimsdal, an original oil painting by Marsha Kitchel, a red wicker rocker, iPods, gift certificates to Canine Design and the Measuring Cup, hunting guide services, decorated tables created by kids at the Key, and phot sessons with Lisa Jaster, E-Man, and Jenna Mahr.

KIDS ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Cakewalk, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Hay Loft, and other games.

$5 Kids (under 12)
$10 students
$15 for adults
$40 families


Tickets are available for purchase at Monkey See Monkey Read and The Thrifty Parrot; also available from Key Youth Board members and at the event.
