Just Food Owner/Member Meeting tonight

Just Food Co-op began its fall owner drive on Friday, just in time for Owner Appreciation Day and the Annual Owner Meeting. All Just Food Co-op member-owners, and anyone who becomes a member-owner today, will receive 5% off their purchases (excluding special orders) during Owner Appreciation Day, and will get to vote in our election (ballots must be turned in at the store by 5 p.m. Tuesday or by 7 p.m. at the annual meeting).

All Co-op owners are also invited and encouraged to celebrate together at the Annual Meeting at The Grand on Tuesday, October 21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Just Food will be closing at 7 p.m. today).

Attendees will enjoy a live bluegrass band, delicious samples served by our local producers, reports from our General Manager and Board President, and a panel discussion with four of our local farmers. There will also be an opportunity to meet the Board candidates and vote. Owners are reminded to vote for their Board and bylaws revisions.

Just Food's new owner drive will continue until the goal of 50 new owners is met. During the drive, all new owners will receive a free purple Go Co-op polypropylene shopping bag. This is a great time to invest in Just Food!
