Just Food Inside & Out! First session Monday @ 7 p.m.

Just Food Co-op bills itself as a “Natural Food Market” but there’s a lot more to us than just being a place that sells something. The name of the store itself helps direct what the store sells, who we buy from, and how we treat employees and owner/customers. What goes on “behind the scenes” is what makes Just Food more than just a grocery store. And if you’ve ever wanted to know more about the “philosophy” behind this unique store, as well as its day-to-day operations, “Just Food, Inside and Out” is your opportunity to get answers to your questions.

Everyone is welcome to attend this fun and informative two-part series including both formal presentations, open discussions, and some delicious samples of Just Food treats. You are invited to share your questions, hopes, and dreams regarding Just Food’s present and future with other customers and members, including the Board of Directors.

In two 90-minute sessions, we’ll explore co-op history, philosophy, and values; describe the policy governance which guides our store; explain how the Just Food Board functions; hear the inside scoop on how the store is run; and talk about our future. Don’t just come for the food, but do come to talk about Just Food!
