How I Wrote a Minnesota Book Award Book, with William Kent Krueger
Award winning, Minnesota writer William Kent Krueger, 2008 winner for genre fiction with his book Thunder Bay, will discuss the background for writing his Cork O’Connor series. All eight of his Cork O’Connor books have been Minnesota Book Award finalists, four the the eight winning the award. The ninth Cork O’Connor novel,Red Knife, was released in September 2008. His popular mysteries are set on the North Shore and in Canada. Mystery and fiction readers are in for a great treat! The event takes place at the Northfield Public Library at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13.
This is the second of two programs of Minnesota Book Award authors, both supported by the Minnesota Book Awards through grants from the Minnesota Department of Education – State Library Services and the Minnesota Library Association Foundation.
