GPS for the Adult Beginner

Ages 18 & up!
Get basic instruction including history, uses and operating the GPS receiver. We’ll teach you what you need to know then test your new skills as we send you out on a navigation course focusing on manual entry of coordinates. Once you understand the functions of marking and manually entering points, you are well on your way to more advanced GPS functions!
Participants will use RBNC’s GPS receivers to avoid confusion during the teaching process. The cost of this program is $15, which covers GPS rental. An individually signed waiver is required to participate and will be available when you arrive for class. Pre-registration is required – space is limited! Call: 507-332-7151 to register.
