Free Tutoring Available Through Carleton College ACT Center!
Submitted by sarevam on Mon, 10/12/2009 - 3:10pm
Carleton College's ACT Center (Acting in the Community Together) offers free tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students in any subject. After receiving a tutoring request from a parent/student/educator, the ACT Tutoring Coordinator matches a Carleton student volunteer to the request, and sets up a one-on-one tutoring partnership. All partnerships meet once a week for one hour in a public location.
For more information or to request a free tutor, call ACT at (507) 222-5595 or send an email to sarevam@carleton.edu. In your message, include your name, the subject area in which a tutor is needed, the age of the child being tutored, and available times to meet.
