Events To Be Held In Honor of Paul and Sheila Wellstone

This past Sunday marked the seventh anniversary of the deaths of Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone, along with his wife, Sheila.  Wellstone became deeply involved with the Northfield community during his time as a professor at Carleton College.  In honor of his contributions and connections to Carleton and Northfield, several events will be held in the area this week and next week.  These events are intended as a tribute to Wellstone's legacy of local and grassroots activism.  Contact owensc@carleton.edu or sainatic@carleton.edu for more info on the events.
