Do You Want to Start Running? Train to run your first 5K (3.1 miles) with support from the Northfield Y.

Join us at the Y this summer for 10 Weeks to a 5K. Enjoy a fun way to get healthy, meet new people and experience the power of the group in helping you to reach your goal. Meet at the Y Health and Wellness Center, 900 Cannon Valley Drive. Wednesdays, May 28 – July 30, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Registration Fee: $30.00 for all 10 sessions. Ages 16 and up. Before the first session, get your legs ready with eight days of walking – walk for 20 minutes a day for the first four days, then increase to 30 minutes for four more days. Each week we will follow a walk/run schedule and gradually work up to 30 minutes of running.
