Comprehensive Plan Open House
The public will have an opportunity to get an overview of the draft of the city's Comprehensive Plan at a meeting on Tuesday, September 23, 7:00 p.m. at the Armory, 212 Division Street.
Later this fall, the Planning Commission will hold public hearings on the Plan. Tuesday's meeting will provide information in preparation for these. The Planning Commission, boards and commissions, city staff and consultants, have been working on this since 2006. A parallel process, creation of regulations to implement the vision of the plan is also under way.
The plan and the regulations will guide important decisions we make in Northfield for the coming years. The public is urged to attend to get a look at the plan, receive an overview of the rest of the process, and to ask questions.
