Community Bible Study: God of Anger and Wrath?: The God of the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures
The Main Street Moravian Church will be offering a Community Bible study this fall for all those who are interested that will look at the Old Testament and its theology and understanding of God. We will find that while there are lots of laws and killing, there are also stories of God as a caring and loving parent, as well as a creator, a keeper of promises, and much more.
Rev. Dr. Amy Gohdes-Luhman, Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Olaf College, will examine the ancient culture in which the Old Testament was written and seek an understanding of the religious minds that produced the Old Testament.
Classes will be Tuesdays, 7pm, Sept. 23-October 28. Please call Pastor Amy at 645-7566. There is no fee for registration.
