The Tavern Lounge is pleased to present yet another fantastic line-up of entertainment this weekend, showcasing some of the area's best established and emerging musicians.

Thursday, July 19—back by popular demand, it's the return of singer/songwriter Ian Thomas AlexyKnown for both his work as a solo artist, and with the national-touring Americana roots duo, "Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank," Alexy has released seven albumbs since relocating to Minnesota and founding CIC Records in 2004 along with his brother and bandmate, Teague Alexy. Ian Alexy will also appear earlier that afternoon on KYMN Radio's "All-Wheel Drive," hosted by Jessica Paxton. Tune in at 1080 AM or online at www.kymnradio.net.

Friday, July 20—Northfield natives Tim and Carolyn Buzza—along with "honorary Northfielder" Terra Widdifield—make up the ever-so delightful trio, "Potluck & The Hot Dishes." The band’s fun, energetic performances—featuring vocals, guitar, banjo, harmonica, and even accordian!—captivate audiences, resulting in an ever-growing loyal following throughout the Twin Cities. Sweetly melodic, "Potluck & The Hot Dishes" deliver a blend of urban-folk, pop, and alt-country with soaring three-part harmonies.

Saturday, July 21—don't miss the debut solo appearance of another amazingly talented Northfield native, Madelyn Hartke. Best known for her previous work with her band, The Dumbfingers, Hartke is pleased to present her first-ever solo show at the Tavern. In her own words, she explains: "Having recently inherited my grandmother's precious upright piano, I am enjoying the luxury that such an instrument provides. Complaints from neighbors aside, I have developed enough confidence on the piano to book my first ever solo show. Stop by for an evening of camaraderie and great music."
