Clothes Closet Now Accepting Donations
The Community Action Center Clothes Closet can be a destination for the outgrown and surplus clothes we all have in our drawers and closets.The Clothes Closet seeks gently used clothing to replenish the rapidly disappearing donations its many customers have purchased. This local resource provides the public low-cost clothing, generating money for the operation of other CAC programs. The current economy has made contributions to the Clothes Closet more necessary than ever.
Clothes Closet staff accepts donations at the loading door on the east side of the NCRC from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Monday through Saturday. Items must be freshly washed or cleaned and in excellent condition. It helps if donations are appropriate for the current season. As we look forward to spring and to changing our wardrobes, this is a good time to winnow and sort. yes"> Then we can donate last year’s garments that no longer fit members of our family, but which others can use and enjoy. And, don’t hesitate to drop in to shop - the public is always welcome!
