Carleton Exhibit Features Work by Senior Studio Art Majors

Carleton College’s senior studio art majors will display their final projects in an exhibit and reception opening Friday, May 15 at 7 p.m. The popular annual exhibition will be located in two venues on campus—Boliou Hall (which houses the Art and Art History Department) and the Art Gallery, in the lower level of the Concert Hall. The work will remain on display through the Carleton Commencement on Saturday, June 13. The exhibits and opening reception are free and open to the public.

Featured art majors include Erica Abshez (Los Angeles), Rebecca Alexander (Portland, Ore.), Elizabeth Alspach (Acworth, Ga.), Ashley Bacon (Chanhassen, Minn.), Rhonda Chan (Hong Kong), Caitlin Fleming (St. Louis), Eunice Hong (Ridgewood, N.J.), Juliana Houston (Philomath, Ore.), Stephanie Mayer (Chicago), James Melson (Cottage Grove, Minn.), Aisling Quigley (Ireland), Savannah Steele (Brooklyn Park, Minn.), Marissa Tapia (Milwaukee), Kaying Vang (St. Paul, Minn.), John Vigeland (Fort Worth, Texas), Fumiko Yashiro (Japan), and Katherine Zerebiec (Chicago).
