Carleton’s Civic Engagement Series is an annual event sponsored by the College’s ACT Center that explores a different social justice theme each year. The 2009 theme addresses “Society and Health: From Northfield to Nation,” and includes a variety of film screenings, speakers, panel discussions, and fundraisers that engage Carleton students with the off-campus community.
