Bratlanders at the Tavern Lounge
Matt Arthur and the Bratlanders, last seen rocking the heck out of the Rueb in May, will be making their first Tavern Lounge appearance of the season with an intimate, small-venue version of their rootsy rock & roll revue this Saturday, June 20.
This show kicks off early, so you might just want to have some dinner downtown and stay there for a few rare semi-unplugged (i.e. "drummerless") sets.
As with all Bratlanders shows, you can expect a mix of old school folk tunes, familiar American anthems, soul-stirring original protest tunes, a few short lessons in music history, and no cover charge.
If you can't make it to the show, fear not...the band is on the bill for next weekend's JuneBug Music Festival with a Friday night gig at the Upstairs Rueb 'N' Stein.
