Benefit Concert for Scholarship Fund
A Latino empowerment group in Northfield - Latinos Working for Change - invites everyone to their First Annual LATINOS WORKING FOR CHANGE BENEFIT CONCERT on Saturday, April 25, 7:00 p.m. at the Northfield High School Auditorium. LWC hopes to raise $6,000.00 to provide scholarships for first generation Latino college students. Will Healy from Emmaus Church and Over and Back fame will emcee this fundraising concert featuring four local groups, including Scaredy Cat Blackie, Feels Like Friday (featuring Bo Avlin and Joel Cooper), Church and State (featuring Joel Leer), and Scattered Stories (featuring Ray Coudret and Dan Kent).
Free-will donations will be accepted. If you are unable to attend, please consider sending a donation payable to Centro Campesino to: Centro Campesino, PO Box 525, Owatonna, 55060.
