As a young girl, I remember

As a young girl, I remember Dr. Nelson's kindness and ever-twinkling eyes when I would come to the clinic.  As an adult, I got to know both Glenn and Elaine better when they would come out to Indian Palms every winter (just like my parents did) to escape MN's winter.  When my mother, Jeanne Schneider, became a widow, she continued to go out to Indian Palms by herself, but she knew the Nelsons would be there, so she didn't feel so alone.  Both Glenn and Elaine were so good to my Mom and included her in many of their plans and won a place in my heart forever!  The Nelsons saw my children grow up as we would go to Indian Palms for visits every winter, and it became a highlight of my visits to be able to spend some time with Glenn & Elaine.  (My kids still remember and talk about "Goodnight Elaine"!)

My deepest sympathies to Elaine and all the Nelson families who will miss this dear, dear man.  Being Christians, we can be comforted knowing that Glenn is now in heaven with our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that we will see Glenn again!

I sure wish I could be at Glenn's services but will be with you all in spirit...

With love,  Suzy Winston
