Francis Pinc, age 53, of Northfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Faribault.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 10:30 am from the Church of St. Dominic’s in Northfield with burial at the Northfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Francis Pinc, the son of Emmanuel and Beverly (Schuette) Pinc was born on November 21, 1958 in Northfield. He attended Northfield Schools and graduated from Northfield High School in1977. Francis then attended the Faribault Vo-Tech School. After his schooling, Francis started working for D&S Cement. Later he worked at the MVE Welding Company in New Prague. Francis later worked for Cardinal Glass as a fork-lift operator and continued working at McLane in Northfield.
Francis was united in marriage to Denise Tuma on June 8, 1991 at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery.

Pearl Law, age 85 of Northfield, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 23rd at Trinity Lutheran Church in Northfield with visitation Monday at the Church from 11:00 am until the time of Services.
April Kramer

April Kramer, age 34 of Northfield, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester following a two year battle with leukemia. Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Thursday, January 19th at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Northfield with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8:00 pm Wednesday at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield and at the Church on Thursday 1 hour prior to Services.
April Christina Kramer was born April 14, 1977 in Waseca, MN, daughter of Ronald and Carol (Frantum) Nelson. She was baptized at the Medo Lutheran Church and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. April was raised and attended school in Waseca, graduating from Waseca High School in 1995. She enjoyed playing tennis in school and was the stat keeper for the boys basketball team for a number of seasons.
April then went to Mankato State studying dental hygiene and community health.
Deane Kern Barbour
Submitted by Jim Bierman on Tue, 01/03/2012 - 2:34pmDeane Kern Barbour, of Northfield, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Three Links Hospice Center, surrounded by her children and grandchildren who were able to express their gratitude for her life. She had been losing strength from pulmonary fibrosis; the last of her family arrived for Christmas four hours earlier.
Deane was the daughter of Everett Deane Kern, a seventh-generation resident of Washington, D.C., and Lena Winn (Dolly) Kern, who came from Tidewater, Va., and later married Milton Pettit after the death of Deane’s father. They lived in Georgetown near Christ Church (Episcopal) and Washington Cathedral, both of which had a lasting influence on her. During her teens Deane was a counselor in summer camps in the mountains, which led her later to spend countless hours enabling others to have similar opportunities.
Gerald George Seitz

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, December 31st at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield with burial at the Northfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 1 hour prior to Services at the Bierman Funeral Home.
Gerald George Seitz was born March 25, 1943 in Northfield, MN, son of Walter and Ethel (Cole) Seitz. He was raised and attended school in Northfield and his first job was working at the Northfield News. He moved to Rochester when be began working at the Holiday Inn Express and in time became the head of housekeeping. Later he worked at the Rochester Post Bulletin until health issues caused him to retire.
For the next 7 years he volunteered at the Channel One Food Shelf in Rochester and recently moved to Valley View of Northfield where he met many new friends.
