Derek Lee “Rick” Gilmer, age 46, of Castle Rock, died on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis following a serious cardiac arrest on Saturday at the Gilmer family cabin on Knife Lake. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Crossroads Church, 17671 Glacier Way, Lakeville, MN. Interment will take place at the Greenvale Cemetery in Castle Rock. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26th from 4 to 7 pm at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield and on Friday one hour prior to the Service at the church.

Robert Taylor, age 91, of Cannon Falls and formely of the Randolph area, died on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield and will be announced later.

Mrs. Sally (Harry) Nordstrom, age 88, of Northfield, died on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield.

Connie Van Campen, age 55 of Northfield, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital Emergency Room in Rochester.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29th at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7:00 pm Wednesday at the Bierman Funeral Home and Thursday 1 hour prior to Services.

Virginia Irene Stickley passed away peacefully, attended by family, at her home in rural Northfield on Sunday, June 27, 2010, after an extended illness. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Northfield United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00 am. Saturday, July 10th. at the church. Interment will be at the Clay Cemetery in rural Onslow, Jones County, Iowa.

Virginia Irene Stickley was born on March 31, 1929 to Virgil Allison and Bertha Irene (Rhoades) Spear in Melcher, Marion County, Iowa.
